What Makes Our BerneDoodles So Great?

Our Bernedoodle puppies are the perfect combination of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, thoughtfully bred for excellent health and a manageable size. With mom weighing 40 lbs and dad just 18 lbs, these pups will grow to around 30–40 lbs, making them a wonderful fit for families. Both parents are health-tested and cleared of genetic issues, and because they each carry the non-shedding gene, their puppies have incredibly soft, hypoallergenic coats. Every puppy has received their first vaccinations, had dewclaws removed, is fully weaned onto dry food, and even trained on a double flap doggie door. Their personalities are affectionate, balanced, and eager to please.

From birth, we focus on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), introducing the puppies to new sounds, sights, smells, and experiences like car rides. They are handled daily and raised in a family setting with children, babies, and other pets, giving them strong social skills. To prepare them for lifelong grooming needs, each puppy has had their nails trimmed multiple times, experienced sanitary trims, and become comfortable with clippers, baths, and the blow dryer. We also trim around their eyes so they are used to gentle handling.

By the time they go home, these puppies are well on their way to being confident, adaptable companions.
